![]() "So you want to know more about us?" asks Moby. You knod your head. "Okay. Read this." Moby hands you a thin book with a leather cover using his mouth. You open the book. Naviao Navaio are cat-like creatures that inhabit what is now the Navian Swamps. The average are about 4 feet tall at the shoulders. Curious by nature, Naviaos can be trouble makers. They are carnivors, they eat only meat. Fish is a main part of their diets. Other creatures they eat include birds, mice, rabits, and other small creatures. In large groups called Prides they may hunt larger creatures such as dear, antelope, moose, and elk. These creatures are highly intellegent. Naviaos come in many colors and have many different phisical attributes. Genesotypes Note: I never learned much about genes and traits and stuff so if this seems kinda screwy please tell me how it's supposed to be. Capitol letters are dominate traits. Lower-Case letters are resesive. Each creature gets two genes per trait. If one of those genes is dominate while the other is resesive, the dominate trait will apear (For instance, if a Naviao gets a resesive trait for dragon wings, d, and a dominate trait for none, N, the creature won't have wings). If two different dominate genes or two different resesive genes are paired together, the Naviao will have a mixture of traits from those two genes. Genes come from the parents and are decided randomly. Traits are listed below: Head & Neck: Size:M, normal sized muzzle. m, thiner longer muzzle. Nose:S, visible. s, not visible; the nose is covered by fur and can't be distinguished from the rest of the head. Wiskers: W, no wiskers. w, wiskers. Maine type: M, no maine. m, regular lion-like maine. B, odd half-maine; called a boa. (Moby has one) (A combonation of M,B causes a horse-like main. Color codes are added to these genes. example: m-g,m-Y would cause a yellow maine. Color codes are defined below.) Fur Length: L, short fur. l, long fur. Color: Color genes can appear as dominate or resesive. -lgt or -drk added onto these leters creates a shade lighter or darker than normal. R, red O, orange y, yellow G, green B, blue P, purple W, white Z, black Socks: N, no socks. s, socks. The color is defined by a color gene added onto the 's' (For instance, s-B,s-r would give the creature blue socks. an s-m would create multicolored socks.) Markings: N, none. S, spots. t, stripes. p, other patterns (stars, hearts, ect.). (Like socks, color genes are added to markings. N,S-w would create light white spots colored spots. t-b,p-G would make odd smeary patterns that are green..) Wings Wing type: N, none. b, butterfly wings. d, dragon wings (Color genes are also added to the wings. In dragon wings, the skin between the 'fingers' is what the color gene determins. Butterflys are determined by two color codes. Example: b-ylgt-Rdrk,b-B-gdrk The base color is always first so the wings would be blue with dark red spots. If d,b occurs, no wings form.) Tail Type:C, feline. d, dragon. (Kacila has this) f, fish. (If d,f occurs, the tail always appears as a dragon type. If the Naviao has a lion's maine and gets a feline tail, there is always long fur at the end of it the same color as the maine.) Feet Claws: R, retractable (you won't be able to see them). r, not retractable (they will be visible) Mutations Mutations: N, will not have a mutation. y, will have a mutation. Example The example below is Moby's genes. The trait pairs are separated by semi-colons and are in the same order that is listed above. Head & Neck: M,M; S,s; wW; m-R,B-rlgt; (Moby got a pink boa not a red one because the red gene was attached to the maine gene not the boa one.) Fur: L,l; W,b-lgt; N,s-m; p-B,p-r Wings: N,b-w-blgt Tail: C,C Feet: R,r Mutations: N,y |
